It reflects our aim to get back to our origin to best serve the community by providing bona fide Japanese dining experience.” Nana Bishou Enterprises, Inc. now manages two restaurants in San Francisco, Kushi Tsuru Restaurant and Isobune™ Sushi.  It was Nanako’s parents, Shoichi and Mieko Imanaka who started Kushi Tsuru in 1978 in San Francisco’s Japan Center and it became an instant success. In 1982, the Imanaka family opened Isobune™ Sushi, which introduced the first “sushi boat” restaurant in the U.S. in order to achieve their mission of “offering high quality sushi truly affordable for everyone.” With over 35 years of restaurant business experience in San Francisco, Nanako has accumulated knowledge, skills, and expertise in hospitality to best serve the community. Opening Minamoto restaurant is an opportunity to create a venue for the east bay community to enjoy a comfortable dining experience with authentic Japanese cuisine.
